Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of CrewDeck, a product by Prosoft Studio. By creating an account or using CrewDeck, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use CrewDeck on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
Accounts and organizations
Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate information. Organization owners and administrators are responsible for their members, invitations, permissions, and use of CrewDeck. You may not share credentials, impersonate others, or access an organization or production without authorization.
Acceptable use
You may use CrewDeck only for lawful production communication. You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, transmit unlawful, threatening, harassing, or infringing material, or use CrewDeck to harm others. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, to protect the service, or when required by law.
Live communications
CrewDeck uses LiveKit to transport live PartyLine audio and does not configure audio recording. CrewDeck is not an emergency service and must not be relied on for emergency, life-safety, or 911 communications. You and your organization are responsible for obtaining any permissions required before communicating with others.
Minors
People under 13 may use CrewDeck only through an organization that has obtained all legally required consent. Organizations are responsible for compliance with laws governing minors and for supervising their authorized users.
Intellectual property
CrewDeck and its content, software, and branding are owned by Prosoft Studio or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use CrewDeck in accordance with these Terms. You retain rights in information you provide, and grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service.
Availability and changes
CrewDeck is an early-access service. Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed. We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
CrewDeck is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prosoft Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CrewDeck.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or CrewDeck must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
