Overview

CrewDeck, a product by Prosoft Studio, provides tools for live production teams to organize crew members and communicate through browser-based PartyLine channels. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use CrewDeck.

Information we collect

• Account information, including your name, email address, password hash, and account security settings.
• Organization and production information, including memberships, roles, positions, invitations, and PartyLine channel assignments.
• Invitation information, including email addresses and, when an organization chooses SMS invitations, phone numbers.
• Service and device information, including session data, IP address, browser or device details, and production connection and disconnection times.
• Live communication information needed to connect you to a PartyLine room, including a participant identifier and display name.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure CrewDeck, create and manage accounts and organizations, deliver invitations and transactional messages, operate PartyLine communications, respond to requests, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Service providers and disclosures

• LiveKit transports live PartyLine audio and receives the participant information needed to establish the connection. CrewDeck does not configure audio recording.
• Bento delivers transactional emails such as account and invitation messages.
• Twilio delivers SMS production invitations when an organization elects to send them.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect CrewDeck, users, or the public, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and similar technology

CrewDeck uses essential cookies and session technology to authenticate users, protect forms, remember security choices, and keep the service functioning. We do not use advertising cookies.

Retention and deletion

We retain personal information for as long as needed to operate CrewDeck and meet legal, security, and accounting obligations. You may delete your account from Profile settings. Deletion removes active account data, subject to limited retention in backups and where necessary for legal or security purposes.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information about personal information we hold. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children

CrewDeck may be used by people under 13 only through an organization that has obtained all legally required consent. Organizations are responsible for ensuring that their use of CrewDeck by minors complies with applicable law.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Information may be processed where we and our service providers operate, including the United States.
